Congratulations to the Village of Haverstraw for receiving the 2022 Heissenbuttel Award for Planning Excellence from the New York Planning Federation (NYPF) in recognition of the Village’s recently adopted Comprehensive Plan.
The Plan, adopted in 2021, was the culmination of more than two years of work by the Village’s Comprehensive Plan Committee, chaired by Jared Rodriguez and facilitated by a team of professionals led by Nelson Pope Voorhis. “This is truly a well-deserved honor for the Village,” says NPV Partner Max Stach, AICP, “The Plan Committee, the Trustees, the residents and stakeholders of the community came together during a very difficult time with a common purpose of serving their community.”
