Nelson Pope Voorhis staff members, with the help of Baxter’s Pond Foundation volunteers, spent June 11th installing a wetland buffer with primarily native plants in Port Washington’s Baxter Pond Park. The planting will help to stabilize the pond’s shoreline, increase biodiversity, and attract pollinators to the park.
During the planting, eggs were also discovered along the shore and left undisturbed during installation!
