New signs designed and installed by NPV along Bay Street in Sag Harbor.  The signs highlight the benefits of the recently completed project by NPV and affiliate Nelson + Pope which implements permeable pavers and rain gardens along Bay Street and Marine Park to help filter out pollutants from stormwater runoff and replenish ground water. Not only are they improving water quality, but they are also lessening the load of polluted stormwater that is discharged directly into the Sag Harbor Bay. The rain gardens found at Marine Park also utilizes native plants, which can be identified on the educational signs, to attract pollinators and provide wildlife food and habitat.
