NPV featured in Long Island Sound documentary!
The documentary, which premiered at the Long Island Sound Coastal Watershed Network Summit in Connecticut, highlights the large-scale Water Quality Improvement Plan project for the Village of Northport. For this project, NPV completed the construction of a rain garden and educational signage, at the intersection of James Street and Bluff Point Road. Our very own Assistant Landscape Ecologist, Cassandra Castano, shares her insights on the importance of rain gardens and utilizing native plants for this project.
