NPV Assists with Approval of $162M Yaphank Warehouse Project

NPV was a major participant in the approval of the Brookhaven Logistics Center in Yaphank.  The project involves construction of three industrial buildings (550,000 sq ft of space) to address trucking, storage, and delivery needs on Long Island.  NPV was instrumental in obtaining Development of Regional Significance (DRS) approval from the Central Pine Barrens Joint Planning & Policy Commission and prepared the project needs assessment and economic/fiscal analysis reports that resulted in tax deferral approval by the Town of Brookhaven’s Industrial Development Agency (IDA). The project represents a $162 million investment in central Brookhaven Township and will generate substantial jobs with a beneficial economic ripple effect.
